Zefal Z Adventure Cage Review
The Z Adventure is an oversized bottle cage rather than a cargo cradle. It takes cylinders from 66 to 92 mm across, which covers big and insulated bottles and Zefal's own small dry bags.

Zefal describes the Z Adventure as a cage for cylinders 66 to 92 mm across, up to a 1 litre bottle or an insulated bottle, and names its own small dry bags as fits. It is fibre-reinforced polypropylene, and the listing gives 88 g. A wide Hypalon hook-and-loop strap holds the load in.
It has four holes and takes two or three screws, which come in the box, so it bolts to standard two-boss or three-boss mounts. Zefal publishes no load limit. Zefal's instructions call for a 4 mm hex key, though the Amazon listing describes it as tool-free.
It is not a cradle for a sleeping bag or a large dry bag, which the Blackburn and Topeak cages are built for. Zefal's adapter only offsets a cage on existing bosses, so a fork without bosses is not an option. At 88 g it is lighter than either of them.
Owners on Amazon US gave it 4.6 stars from 193 ratings in October, with about 4 percent at one or two stars. We could not read individual reviews, so there is little owner detail behind that figure. At $31.46 in August it is priced close to the larger cages.
