WINFAVO Compact Ratchet Bike Tool Kit Review
This kit pairs a bidirectional ratchet and bits with tyre levers and a tubeless plug kit. It suits tubeless day rides better than a long trip, because it has no chain tool.
The verdictA tidy tubeless day-ride kit with a ratchet and T25. Add a chain tool for anything longer, and treat its rating as early.
The listing describes a bidirectional ratchet with a magnetic socket and seven bits: 2.5, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm hex, PH1 and T25. WINFAVO says the bits are S2 steel. The kit lives in a 105 x 40 mm flip case, and a version with an L-shaped wrench sits on the same listing.
Two nylon tyre levers with spoke hooks store tubeless plug strips inside them, and a reamer and an insertion tool complete a plug kit. That makes it a fuller roadside kit for tubeless riders than a folding tool alone. A ratchet also reaches bolts a fixed L-shaped tool cannot turn.
It leaves out a chain tool, a spoke key and the 2 and 8 mm hex sizes, and WINFAVO publishes no weight or warranty. The listing's product description block lists a different kit from its title and photos, so follow the title and photos for what arrives.
Owners on Amazon US gave it 4.8 stars from 24 ratings in October, with no written reviews showing, which is too short a record to judge durability. At $19.79 when we checked in August, it is a reasonable tubeless day kit. Pair it with a chain tool and quick link for a multi-day trip.
