Crankbrothers lists 19 functions: hex keys from 2 to 8 mm, T10 and T25 Torx, two Phillips and a flat screwdriver, 8 and 10 mm open wrenches, four spoke keys and a chain tool for 8 to 12 speed chains. It weighs 175 g and measures 89 x 45 x 19 mm, by Crankbrothers' figures. The body is high-tensile steel, and a case comes in the box.
The chain tool, the 8 mm hex and T25 are the functions that matter on a long trip. A broken chain or a loose crank bolt ends a ride without them, and many smaller tools leave one of them out. Bikepacking.com's long-term review describes over five years of use, with surface rust but every function still working.
The weight is the trade. Amazon's review summary counts weight among the complaints, alongside difficulty opening the case and folding out the tools, and one owner calls the case an afterthought. Another owner reports the case missing from the box entirely, so check it on arrival.
Owners on Amazon US gave it 4.8 stars from 16,995 ratings in October, with no measurable share at one or two stars on the histogram. Crankbrothers backs it with a lifetime warranty. For a rider who carries one tool on a multi-day route, it covers the repairs that most often end a trip.
