FLEXTAIL Tiny Tire Pump ACS (120 psi) Review
The ACS is FLEXTAIL's bike pump, not to be confused with its Tiny Pump 2X for sleeping pads. It does the pumping for you and adds a gauge and a rear light.
The verdictLight, quick and accurate, with a gauge most mini pumps lack. Its battery, its owner reports and its failure to reseat a tubeless bead make it a day-ride pump rather than an expedition one.
FLEXTAIL's Amazon listing gives the first-generation ACS a 120 psi maximum, a weight of 125 g and a digital display that stops the pump at a set pressure, claimed accurate to 1 psi. BikeRadar's first look lists a 500 mAh battery that charges over USB-C in 35 minutes and manages two full inflations to 100 psi per charge. Singletracks weighed its sample at 163.2 g with the bracket and extension hose.
For gravel, the number that matters is air, not pressure. By our rough arithmetic a 45 mm tyre at 30 psi takes about as much air as a 25 mm road tyre at 100 psi, so expect around two flat gravel tyres per charge, in line with Singletracks' report of enough for a couple of 29er tyres. Singletracks also found it could not reseat a burped or fully flat tubeless tyre, and described it as loud and hot near the valve.
Owner reports are the weak point. On 7 October 2026 the Amazon listing had 3.9 stars from 162 ratings, 20 percent of them one-star, and Amazon's review summary says some owners report it not working at all. The listing rates it for -15°C to 50°C, but Battery University says lithium-ion cells must not be charged below freezing, so charge it indoors.
What works
- 125 g with digital gauge and auto-stop
- No pumping, USB-C charge in 35 minutes
- Seatpost bracket doubles as rear light
What doesn't
- About two flat gravel tyres per charge
- One in five Amazon ratings is one-star
- Cannot reseat a burped tubeless bead
Buy it if
Day rides and short overnighters where you want a gauge and no pumping effort, and can charge the pump before every ride
Skip it if
You need a pump that cannot run flat on a week-long trip, or you hope to reseat a tubeless bead with it
