INIU P73-E1 Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank (10,000 mAh) Review

INIU gives the P73-E1 as 10,000 mAh and 38.5 Wh, at 189 g and 106 x 72 x 14 mm, and the listing gives 194 g. It charges an iPhone wirelessly at up to 15 W under the Qi2 standard, and its two USB-C ports deliver up to 45 W. With two outputs in use at once, the total is capped at 15 W.

The magnetic hold and full wireless speed are for iPhone 12 and later, by the listing. Other phones charge wirelessly without the magnet or at a lower speed, and a head unit needs the USB-C cable. The listing says it supports pass-through charging, and it refills at up to 27 W, faster than most 10,000 mAh banks.

Wireless charging costs some energy against a cable. Apple's own MagSafe page notes that wireless charging might use more power than wired, and neither INIU nor the standards body publishes a figure for the loss. By INIU's own formula it gives about 1.9 charges of an iPhone 14, so carry the short cable for anything else.

Owners on Amazon US gave it 4.3 stars from 1,567 ratings in October, with 12 percent at one or two stars. Amazon's review summary counts most reliability, heat and build mentions as negative, and one owner had a bank heat up unplugged in a bag before INIU exchanged it. INIU covers it with a 3-year warranty.
