The verdictCheap enough that redundancy beats quality. Two of these weigh less than one premium light and cannot both fail.
There is a genuine argument for buying two cheap lights rather than one good one on a bikepacking trip. Lights fail through water ingress at the charging port, which is unpredictable, and a second unit in the frame bag is a more reliable answer than a better single light that has the same failure mode.
Five and a half thousand ratings is a solid base for a product at this price, and the reports describe what you would expect: adequate output, unremarkable build, and a mounting system that works but does not inspire confidence on washboard.
Six modes on the front is more than anyone needs, and the practical consequence is cycling through settings you never use to get back to the one you want. That is a common annoyance in the reports and it is worth knowing before buying.
As a primary light for regular night riding it is the wrong purchase, because the failure rate over years is higher than the better sets. As a backup that lives in a bag and comes out when the main light dies, it is close to ideal.
