Toothpaste is mostly water and the tube is mostly packaging, so a tube on a bike is a container of something you already carry, wrapped in something you have to carry out. Tablets remove both, and 125 of them cover two months at two a day in a container smaller than the tube they replace.
Fluoride is the specification that matters and it is the one many tablet brands quietly omit in favour of a natural positioning. On a long tour with irregular routine and a diet heavy in sugar from convenience stops, that is the wrong place to economise, and this one keeps it.
The texture takes acclimatising and this is the most common first impression in the reports. You chew a tablet until it breaks down into a paste and then brush normally, and the first two or three genuinely feel strange rather than unpleasant. Most owner accounts describe being used to it within about a week of daily use.
Review volume is modest at under two hundred accounts, so this is far better evidenced on whether it works than on how the tablets hold up after a fortnight of humidity in a seatpack. Keeping them in the original screw-top container rather than decanting into a bag is worth doing for exactly that reason.
