ROCKBROS has created a bag that feels as much like an everyday 'sling' as it does a cycling accessory. The boxy shape maintains its structure even when empty, and the internal dividers are a godsend for anyone tired of fishing for their keys at the bottom of a dark bag.
On the bike, it attaches via three velcro straps. It is stable enough for road and light gravel, but the mount rattles on genuinely technical descents. The real winning feature is the included shoulder strap and the discrete mounting points, which allow you to carry it into a cafe or grocery store without looking like you're carrying a piece of luggage. It's only 'water-resistant', so keep your phone in a plastic bag if the clouds look threatening.
Placed against the rest of this page it is the odd one out, and deliberately so. At 2L it is the second-smallest bag here, at 310g it is heavier than the 2.5L Rhinowalk pack that holds more, and it is the only one that is water-resistant rather than genuinely waterproof. On pure bike metrics it loses on all three.
What no other bag on this page offers is the shoulder strap and the intent behind it. This is a bag designed to leave the bike and keep working — a shop stop, a cafe, a train platform — and the boxy structure and dividers exist for that, not for the ride. If your riding is loops from home where the bag never comes off, buy the Rhinowalk and save $4 and 90g. If it is rides that end somewhere, this is the only one here that does the second job at all.
