The listing for this option describes a harness base and a separate roll-top dry bag of up to 12 litres. The harness has a PE stiffening board, three webbing belts, a front panel with an elastic strap and four EVA pads to protect the bar and cables. The dry bag lifts out at camp without undoing the straps, and the whole set weighs about 0.5 kg.
Rhinowalk rates the polyester at 4,000 mm of water pressure, with hot-pressed tape on the inside seams. Owners describe kit staying dry through rain on long trips, including the GAP and C&O and the Tuscany Trail. One calls the dry bag fabric a little thin, so keep it away from sharp edges.
