Lixada 750ml Titanium Pot Review
The Lixada is a plain 750 ml titanium pot at a budget price. It boils water for one rider as well as any titanium pot, and lacks the graduations and bail of dearer ones.
The verdictA light, plain titanium pot that boils water well for the money. It lacks graduations and its wire handles get hot.
The listing gives this 750 ml size as 3.2 oz, about 91 g, and roughly 100 mm wide by 96 mm tall, without saying whether the weight includes the lid. It has folding bare wire handles, a recessed lid with a lift tab and a mesh carry bag. The same listing sells 550 and 650 ml sizes, so check the option in the basket.
The listing claims no graduations and the photos show none, so measuring water for a dehydrated meal means using a bottle or a mug. One owner in Japan describes a 110 g canister and a small burner fitting inside, though Lixada publishes no canister fit. The bare wire handles get hot, by one owner's report, so lift it with a glove or a cloth.
Like any titanium pot it spreads heat unevenly and suits boiling water better than cooking thick food. Owners on Amazon US gave the listing 4.7 stars from 683 ratings in October, shared across all three sizes, with about 3 percent at one or two stars. Lid comments in Amazon's review summary are mostly positive.
At $26.99 when we checked in August, it is a budget way into titanium for a rider who mostly boils water for meals and coffee. A rider who wants graduations inside, a bail handle and a published canister fit pays a little more for those details.
