The verdictExcellent value as a visibility set and as the spare pair you never unpack. Do not mistake 400 unfocused lumens for a night-riding light — that is a different and much more expensive product.
Four hundred lumens at the front and 60 at the rear, USB rechargeable, across four modes, at this price is a genuinely useful thing to own. For riding lit roads at dusk, for being visible to a driver approaching from behind, and as the backup set that lives permanently in a pannier for the day a tour runs later than planned, it does the job without argument. The IPX4 rating covers rain and road spray, which is the realistic exposure for lights mounted above the bottom bracket.
Where it stops is unlit gravel. Four hundred lumens from a small reflector produces a broad, unfocused pool with no useful throw — enough to be seen by, not enough to pick a line at speed on a descent through a forest at night. Riders who genuinely night-ride need three to four times this output with a shaped beam. The mounts are also rubber-strap type, which are quick to move between bikes but will rotate on a hard hit, and IPX4 is splash resistance rather than the IPX6/7 you want for a multi-day trip in sustained rain.
