The arms of this cage pull out and work as tyre levers, which sounds like a novelty until you remember how often people arrive at a puncture without them.
The verdictA genuinely sensible piece of integration if you do not already carry levers. Slightly heavier than a plain cage, and it removes an item you would otherwise forget.
Tyre levers are the item most likely to be missing when you actually need them, because they live loose in a saddle bag and migrate. Building them into something bolted to the frame means they are always there, and it removes two items from the bag you have to remember to repack after every repair.
As a cage it does the normal job, with grip comparable to other composite cages at this price. The levers are stiffer than the cheapest plastic ones and adequate for a stubborn gravel tyre, though anyone who has fought a tubeless bead onto a narrow rim knows no plastic lever is a guarantee.
The case against it is redundancy. If your multi-tool already integrates levers, this adds weight and cost for a capability you have twice over, and a plain cage plus separate levers is cheaper. It is also a fairly new product with few owner reports.
One practical note from the reports: the levers seat firmly enough not to rattle out on rough surfaces, which is the obvious worry with a design like this, but they are worth checking after the first properly rough descent rather than assuming.
